HP’s new PageWide range boasts faster poster printing


With the ability to print posters at speeds up to 30 prints per minutes, HP claims that its new PageWide printers are up to 60% faster than the fastest monochrome LED printers on the market.

Print studios, architects, engineers and reproduction houses are HP’s main targets. The largest printer, the HP PageWide XL 8000, offers high-end production printing with printer ink cartridges that can print up to six rolls of paper for high volume jobs.

Own a SMART franking machine? You need to switch to blue ink

Last year Royal Mail made a change to the franking ink used in franked mail. The change affected any business that uses a SMART franking machine.
Franking ink used in SMART franking machines now needs to be blue. Switch to blue franking ink and keep in line with Royal Mails new technology.
SMART franking machines can frank in both red and blue ink but Royal Mail has changed the colour of franking to just blue ink which improves the readability of franked mail. The colour change has been slowly implemented over the year, but now if you own a SMART franking machine, you need to begin buying blue franking machine ink, instead of red.

Internet Explorer gone?

No, it’s just moving sideways

Internet Explorer once dominated the world search engine market and had more than one billion users.
This week the software giant announced that there will be a web browser included within Windows 10, but it won’t be called Internet Explorer. Chris Capossela, Speaking at the Microsoft Convergence conference in Atlanta on Monday, made it clear that Internet Explorer is being pushed to the side.
